Defender Alexander Banor Tettey will finally leave newly promoted English Premier League side Norwich City this summer.
The 35-year-old is saying goodbye the club after nine years with the Canaries, helping them earn promotion three times since joining them from French side Stade Rennes in the summer of 2012.
The ace defender will return to Norway to rejoin former club Rosenburg.
“Both Alex and Mario have made significant contributions to the football club and this is a sad day for all connected with Norwich City,” said the Norwich City’s sporting director Stuart Webber.
“For Alex to have achieved what he has over his nine-year spell at the club is phenomenal. He will of course be rightly remembered as a Norwich City legend.
“We will always have a role for Alex at this football club and, should he wish, we will help and support him with the next stage of his career when he feels the time is right.”
In totality, Tettey played 262 games for Norwich City in his nine year stay.
