The governing body of world body announced on Thurday its full alleviation relief plan to support the 211 member associations under their control and according to FIFA about ninety-percent of the impact of Covid-19 in football is at the doorsteps of football clubs including those from Ghana.
“On aggregate , approximately 90% of the impact of Covid-19 is at club level, although this varies across MAs” FIFA said in their Covid-19 Relief Plan.

Some football people wanted the GFA to share some of the money to the supposed financially-disturbed clubs following the outbreak of the deadly virus.
The CEOs of both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak publicly revealed lack of financial income for their respective clubs in this period of the Covid-19 and the confirmation from FIFA is not surprising.
