Ghanaian defender Claud Adjapong, scored his first goal of the season for Serie A side Sassuolo when they recorded a 2-0 away victory over Spal at the Stadio Paolo Mazza on Thursday night.
The Italian-born Ghanaian right back shot the visitors the lead in the 59th minute after a scoreless half time before Alessandro Matri sealed victory for Sassuolo with a stoppage time strike.
The 20- year old defender however, was substituted on the 73rd minute after being replaced by Pol Lirola.

Though his countryman Alfred Duncan missed the trip as a result of injury, Kevin Prince Boateng enjoyed the full 90 minutes from the bench.
