Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derek Agyakwa has signed a new two-year deal with English Championship side Watford FC, SPORTSworldGhana.com can confirm.
The youngster has also agreed a loan move for the 2020/21 season according to the club.
The 18-year-old, who joined Watford FC in January from Dutch side FC Twente, has signed a new two-year contract with the option of a further year.
Agyakwa will now join Serie C outfit Como 1907 in Italy on loan until the end of this campaign.
The Amsterdam born promising defender has made two first-team appearances for Watford, against Oxford United and Newport County in this year’s Carabao Cup.
