Ghanaian defender Festus Arthur played his first game for new club Barrow AFC in their 1-0 defeat to Joseph Anang Tetteh’s Stevenage FC on Saturday in the Skybet League Two season opener.
The first half of the game failed to produce any goal.
However, the second half got off to the worst possible start as Stevenage took the lead inside 30 seconds.
A slick move down the right caught Barrow cold and a low ball into the edge of the six-yard area was slammed home by Reeves.
The visitors after going down after recess kept pushing for an equalizer but their effort paid never paid off as they suffered a slim 1-0 defeat to Stevenage FC.
“Happy to have joined on loan at @barrowafc and also happy that I have made my league debut!! disappointing result but we move forward and look to build as a team!!
