Kumasi Asante Kotoko Left-Back Patrick Yeboah has terminated his contract with with the Ghanaian giants after a mutual agreement.
The industrious and attacking minded defender had two years left on his contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
Yeboah in an Interview with Oyerepa FM based in the Garden City confirmed his decision to leave the club this summer.
”It’s not because of the arrival of the new players but the truth of the matter is I personally just want to take on new challenge somewhere else”, he said.
According to Yeboah, he’s not leaving the Red and Whites team because he’s afraid of competition or whatsoever.
”I’m not afraid of challenge but i have to move on. I thank the Kotoko family because they made me who i am”, he noted.
Furthermore, the former Kotoko player revealed the he wants to be at a club where he would enjoy enough playing time.
“Getting enough time to play as a player is very important and it was the main reason i decided to terminate my contract with club”, he concluded.
