Ghanaian centre-back Rockson Yeboah is optimistic of a positive season with Allsvanskan side IFK Göteborg for the 2026-27 football season.
Following his impressive outings in the 2024-25 campaign, the former AEK Anthens loanee is now itching to emulate such effort in the upcoming Swedish top-flight so as to catch the eyes of elite division suitors across Europe next term.
The 21-year-old has told newspaper Göteborgs-Posten: ”This is the time for me to show what I have in me. This is the season that I hope everything goes as I planned.” He added on his ambitious target for a marquee transfer switch next season: ”Yes, that’s the plan. Then only God decides how it will be. I will do my best and see what it gives me and the team.”
Yeboah took in 14 appearances for IFK Göteborg across all competitions during the 2024-25 football season. He’s yet to earn his international cap with Ghana at any international level.
