Ghanaian duo, Elisha Owusu and Osman Bukari has been named in the 20-man match day squad for KAA Gent ahead of this evening’s Champions League clash against Rapid Wien today.
Owusu played full throttle in Gent’s 1-2 lost to KAS Eupen in the Belgium Jupiler League over the weekend and has been named in the 18-man match day squad to face Austrian side Wien due to his exploits.
Bukari on the other hand missed out on the final squad for the KAS clash and is in line to make his bow for the Blue and Whites for the first time since joining on a three-year deal from AS Trencin.
Gent is looking to make it into the next stage of the qualifying rounds in the UEFA Champions League and would be hoping for a great match to help them progress to the next level.
Ghanaian-born Belgian Vadis Odjidja Ofoe is also included in the squad after missing the league game last Friday.
The game between the Belgium team Gent and Austrian side Rapid Wien kicks off at 6:30 GMT today, Tuesday, September 15.
