Ghanaian forward, Abdul-Aziz Yakubu was adjudged Man of the Match after netting his 10th goal of the season for Estoril Praia in the Portuguese Secunda Liga on Saturday afternoon.
Abdul-Aziz clinched the award after putting up an outstanding display for his side as they picked an important away point.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian striker played 81 minutes of the match before he was substituted and replaced by Andre Clovis with just a little under ten minutes left on the clock to play.
Yakubu scored the game’s opening goal in the 12th minute with a close-range finish following a pinpoint cross from Joaozinho.
Nineteen minutes after the break, Andre Soares grabbed the equalizer for the home team to draw them level on the 64th-minute mark of the match to make it 1-1.
It ended 1-1 after the final whistle.
The Ghanaian striker has played in 22 matches for the Blue and Yellows and has found the back of the net 10 times with two assists to his name.
