Ghanaian forward, Bernard Morrison has clinched the Tanzanian Premier League with Simba SC.
Simba SC defeated Coastal Union of Tanga 2-0 on Sunday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam to win their fourth consecutive Tanzania Premier League (VPL) trophy.
A goal each from captain John Bocco and Chriss Mugalu were all that Simba needed to record a crucial home victory to extend their tally to 79 points.
Their rivalry, Young Africans are second with 70 points with only two games remaining to finish the end the season.
The victory means Simba also earn a spot in next season’s edition of Total CAF Champions League.
This season they were kicked out of the CAF inter-club competition by Kaizer Chiefs in the quarter-final.
