The highly-rated Dutch-born Ghanaian international opened the scoring for the visitors in the 37th minute of the game before his strike was canceled by Tomas Suslov in the 53rd minute at the Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion.
The away side kept tormenting the hosts’ defensemen in an attempt to score more goals and finally restored their lead four minutes later after Tomas Suslov’s equalizer.
Gakpo, 21, who lasted the entire duration of the game completed his brace in the game in the 87th-minute mark after Donyell Malen had missed a penalty in the 83rd minute.
