German-born Ghanaian attacker Daniel-Kofi Kyereh scored his debut goal for St. Pauli who suffered a 2-1 defeat in their first pre-season match against Holstein Kiel on Saturday.
The 24-year-old’s shot Pauli in front after his fine shot from close range beat the goalkeeper in the 17th minute.
Holstein Kiel equalised in the 59th before snatching the winner nine minutes later.
Kofi Kyereh joined the second-tier side on a three-year deal last month after leaving relegated side SV Wehen Wiesbaden following the expiration of his contract.
He made 28 appearances for Wehen in the German Bundesliga 2 this season where he scored 6 goals and also provided 7 assists.
