Ghanaian forward Dauda Mohammed has joined Spanish La Liga 2 side FC Cartagena SAD from Belgium giant RSC Anderlecht, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC darling boy have moved to the newly promoted team on a season long loan deal which will keep him at the club till 2022 summer.
Dauda completed his move to the second tier club on the transfer deadline day.
A statement on the club’s website read:
“FC Cartagena SAD informs of the agreement reached today with RSC Anderlecht for the loan of footballer Mohammed Dauda (Ghana, 02/20/21) until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Dauda is a footballer who stands out for his speed, verticality and accuracy in front of goal. He is a winger who plays on the left wing (despite being right-handed) and who can also do the job at the top.
Dauda came to RSC Anderlecht four seasons ago from his country and made his debut in the Belgian team’s first team. The following season he went on loan to Vitesse de la Eredivise, where he played 16 games and scored 3 goals.
After his experience in the Netherlands, Dauda went on loan again, this time to the Danish First Division. In Esbjerg fB he played a total of 22 games scoring 4 goals and, already last year, he returned to his home team. Last year at RSC Anderlecht he played 17 games scoring one goal.
Now, Mohammed Debt comes to FC Cartagena to live his first experience in Spanish football. The new Efesé player will arrive in Cartagena in the next few days to put himself under Luis Carrión and start training with his new teammates.
