Italian-born Ghanaian center-forward Derrick Gyimah has been offered an opportunity to train with the senior side of Torino by manager Davide Nicola, SportsWorldGhana.com can report.
Gyimah who was sent to the Under 18 team following his sterling performance with the U17 last season, has this time been asked to train with the senior side to aid his development for a possible Serie A debut come next season.
The nimble-footed striker was phenomenon for the U18 of the Turin club during the last campaign and now looks set for a bigger role as he continues to make good impression while training with the senior side of Torino FC.
Born to Ghanaian parents in Milan on 3rd June 2003, Gyimah previously played for Savigliano before being signed by Torino two seasons ago for an undisclosed fee.
Derrick Gyimah is yet to pledge his international allegiance to either Italy or Ghana, but the teenager has shown so much promise to court the attention of the European country.
He is considered as one of the formidable attackers in the Italian youth ranks.
The promising attacker is the son of former Neoplan Stars player Akwasi Gyimah.
