Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Mustapha came off the bench to secure Radnički Niš a thrilling 4-2 victory over Napredak in Krusevac, extending the visitors’ fine run in the 2025/26 Serbian Super Liga.
Mustapha entered the fray in the 60th minute and made an immediate impact. His composure was rewarded in the 83rd minute when he calmly converted a penalty, putting Radnicki 4-1 ahead and effectively sealing the contest. His finish capped a ruthless attacking display from the visitors, leaving Napredak with little hope of a comeback.
The visitors started strongly, with winger Gboly Ariyibi orchestrating the opening salvo. Ariyibi set up Aleksandr Shestyuk for the opener in the 20th minute and followed up with an assist to Dusan Pavlović just two minutes later. Although Milos Vuletic pulled one back for Napredak before halftime, Ariyibi restored the two-goal cushion from the penalty spot in the 70th minute. A late strike from Andrija Majdevac only softened the scoreline as Radnicki held on for a convincing victory.
This season, Mustapha has made 13 appearances in the Serbian Super Liga, scoring twice, showcasing his ability to make an impact from the bench
Radnicki Niš now turn their attention to their next league clash at home against FK IMT Beograd on Sunday, February 22, aiming to continue their winning momentum.
