German-born Ghanaian forward Jamie Lewling scored for Greuther Furth as they walloped SV Sandhausen on Friday in the German Bundesliga II.
Greuther Furth won 3-0 with the Ghanaian international netting the second goal of the game.
Leweling scored the second goal three minutes after Julian Green had put Furth ahead.
Dickson Abiama wrapped up victory for his side with the third goal in the 87th minute.
The goal was Leweling’s first of the season after 11 games.
The Germany youth international is being chased by Black Stars head coach Charles Akonnor.
The 19-year old was last month invited for double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan but he did not honour the invitation.
However, Akonnor and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have not given up on the talented forward as talks are still ongoing to have Leweling capped for the four-time African Champions.
