The 21-year-old was named in the starting line-up by head coach Philippe Clement for the club’s seventh league game of the 2021/22 season. Sowah sealed his move to Brugge last month following his decision to move from Leicester City.
Having been handed a home debut, it didn’t take long for the young forward to make an impact in the game as he provided an assist for Noa Lang to open the scoring for the home team.
Kamal Sowah sent a diagonal pass into the path of Lang, who finished off neatly after a calm control to put his team ahead.
The Ghanaian started the game from the right-wing in an attacking trio including Charles De Ketelaere and goal scorer Noa Lang.

The league leaders doubled their lead 11 minutes after the first-half break with Hans Vanaken finding the back of the net to make it 2-0. Lang added another goal to his name on the night and his side’s third of the game.
The game also saw fellow Ghanaian international David Atanga play the last 15 minutes for the away team, ending up on the losing side.
With one game more than many others, Club Brugge currently lie on top of the Belgian Pro League after 14 games from seven games played.
