Switzerland-born Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Duah registered his second goal of the season for St Gallen when they lost to Grasshopper CZ.
Duah scored one of the consolation goals for the visitors who were beaten 5-2 drubbing in the Swiss Super League.
Mamadou Kaly Sene and Leo Bonatini scored a goal each for Grasshopper before the break.
Nicholas Luchinger pulled one back for the visitors just a minute into the second half.
Sene scored again restore the hosts’ two-goal advantage three minutes later before Duah converted a penalty to reduce the deficit.
Goals from Bendeguez Bolla and Djibril Diani in the 70th and 84th minutes sealed the victory for Grasshopper.
Black Stars goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi was in the posts for St. Gallen.
Duah, 24, has now scored two goals since the start of the season after making 8 appearances in the Swiss top-flight.
