Ghanaian forward Mamudu Moro scored late in the Sweden Allsvenskan to secure a crucial away point for Mjällby AIF against SK Orebro on Saturday evening. Moro played just the last ten minutes of the match but helped his team to gain a point in their quest to survive relegation in the 2021-22 campaign. Nehir Besara gave the hosts a nine minutes lead but Joel Nilsson equalized after 22 minutes. Orebro scored early again after the break when Dennis Collander struck six minutes into the second half of the match to put the hosts 2-1 up. The away team were reduced to 10-men halfway through the first half after Enoch Adu Kofi saw red on the 27th-minute mark. Despite going a goal and a man down, the Yellow and Blacks kept pushing for the leveler.
Moro replaced Nilsson inside 80 minutes and bagged his third league goal of the season four minutes after coming on with a right-footed finish inside the box to draw the away team level as the match ended 2-2. The 26-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder has played 12 matches and has three goals to his credit.
