Ropapa Kwamina Mensah was at his best again in the United States League Championships for Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday.
The former Inter Allies striker scored his team’s third goal on the day as they walloped New York Red Bulls II by 4-1 in the USL Championship.
Robbie Merts scored on the third minutes from the spot to give the host the lead before adding the second goal to make it 2-0 on the 61st minutes.
The tall and lanky Ghanaian attacker, Mensah, grabbed his team’s third goal after 64 minutes before Anthony Velarde added the fourth goal ten minutes from full time.
Dantouma Toure scored a consolation for the visitors on the 90th minute to make the final score 4-1 in favour of the home team.
The 23-year-old predator finisher has two goals and two assists in six games this campaign.
