The 24-year-old versatile Ghanaian forward has surpassed his total goal tally for last season already in just five matches in the Spanish La Liga 2.

“The start of the season is being good. Very happy with the work and the confidence that the coach gives me. I try to take advantage of it. Having the confidence of the coach is everything,” Obeng said in a recent interview.

He added: I am a player who does not give any ball for lost. I try to fight them all . The applause of the fans is a shot of confidence and it gives you goosebumps. It motivates you to keep working.”

Obeng scored two goals in the 2020-21 season but has already bagged three goals already this 2021-22 campaign.
