Ghana giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko are very close to signing agreements with English Premier League club Southampton.
According to the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah, Kotoko has reached a 90 percent agreement with one of the Premier League teams and an announcement would be made in due time.
The Kotoko CEO did not disclose all the details to the press as he promised to make it official to the public and the club supporters alike when the two clubs deem the right time for the announcement.
However, SPORTSworldGhana.com can report that Southampton will become Kotoko’s official partner in the coming days.
The Porcupines unveiled their new management team on Tuesday where the CEO made those pronouncements.
The Ghana Premier League giant will begin camping on Wednesday, 22nd September ahead of the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season and the CAF Champions League qualifying stages.
