English League One side Crawley Town have announced the signing of Ghana international goalkeeper Joe Wollacott on a permanent transfer from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.
The 27-year-old has agreed to a two-year contract with the Red Devils and is excited about the new chapter in his career.
Wollacott’s move to Crawley Town comes after a challenging season at Hibernian, where he made just nine appearances due to injuries. Despite the limited playing time, Wollacott brings a wealth of experience to his new club, having spent eight years at Bristol City and had multiple loan spells at various clubs in England and Norway.
The goalkeeper has made 41 professional appearances in his career, including a memorable debut for Forest Green Rovers, where he saved a crucial penalty in a 0-0 draw against Charlton Athletic.
Wollacott has also played for Swindon Town, Charlton Athletic, and Hibernian, working under the guidance of his current manager Scott Lindsey at Swindon.
