Ross County fans have reason to celebrate as Ghanaian goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has signed a new two-year contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper initially joined the Scottish Premiership side on a short-term deal on December 6, 2024, and has since impressed with his performances. In just 12 appearances, Amissah has recorded four clean sheets, solidifying his role as a key figure in Ross County’s squad.
Manager Don Cowie expressed his satisfaction with the contract extension, praising Amissah’s impact since arriving at the club.
“We are delighted that Jordi has extended his stay at the club by signing a new deal. He has been a great addition to the group since joining in December and has given us excellent competition in the goalkeeping area,” Cowie said.
Amissah’s career began in Germany, where he progressed through the youth ranks of Holsterhausen Herne, VfL Bochum, Schalke 04, and Borussia Dortmund before moving to England in 2018 to join Sheffield United’s academy. Now in Scotland, he continues to make strides in his professional career.
