Ghanaian midfielder Brendan Sarpong Wiredu has reacted to Colchester United’s 1-1 stalemate against Barrow AFC in the English League Two on Monday night.
Callum Harriott’s first half strike looked to have given Colchester United a valuable win and the first of Hayden Mullins’ reign in charge of the U’s.
But a late qualiser from Tom Beadling meant that the U’s were forced to take a single point instead of all three as the Bluebirds head back up to Cumbria with a point as well.
And the Ghanaian international who started and lasted the full duration of the match, has taken to social media to express his contentment with the draw.
”Not the result we wanted, a point better than nothing. 6 wars left stick by & with us @ColU_Official,”
