Ghanaian midfielder David Mawutor put up a stupendous display for Zhetysu Taldykorgan who recorded a 2-0 away win over Kaspyi Aktau in the opening game of the Kazakhstan Premier League on Sunday.
The Astana FC target, dazzled and as well controlled the midfield for as the visitors silenced the home side Kaspyi Aktau, starting the season with a 2-0 home loss.
Martin Toshev and Yegor Zubovich scored in the 66th and 83rd minute respectively as Mawutor’s Zhetysu Taldykorgan clinched all three points at the Zhastar Stadium.
Mawutor, 27, is currently rated as one of the best foreign players currently playing in the Kazakhstan Premier top-flight and hopes that hopes that his impressive performance would get him a Black Stars call up for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
