Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Boateng has signed a four-year contract with 6-time Swedish champions IF Elfsborg.
The former WAFA and Aduana Stars midfielder has already completed his medical examination and the contract has also been signed.
The midfielder’s visa and work permit is being processed after which the move would be made official.
The 24-year-old is joining the Swedish Allsvenskan side from Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv where he had an incredible campaign last season.
He joined Israeli top-flight side Tel Aviv in 2018 from Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars.
Boateng made 28 appearances in all competitions for Tel Aviv and scored one goal in the process.
