Hungarian club Ferencváros has officially secured the services of Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Pappoe, marking the team’s initial summer addition.
The 20-year-old rising star has made the switch to the Hungarian side from Israeli club FC Ashdod, with the transfer fee remaining undisclosed.
Isaac Pappoe, born on December 20, 2003, ventured to FC Ashdod in 2022 from Ghana, his country of origin. He recently completed a loan spell at Swiss second division club FC Aarau, where he showcased his adaptability by excelling in defensive and attacking midfield positions.
During his time in Switzerland, Isaac Pappoe amassed an impressive 2165 minutes across 28 league appearances, contributing two goals and five assists. Additionally, he featured in a Swiss Cup match, playing for 84 minutes.
Prior to his European venture, Isaac Pappoe represented the Ghana U20 national team twice, displaying his talent on the international stage.
Isaac Pappoe previously plied his trade with Ghanaian club Golden Kick SC. According to Transfermarkt, Pappoe’s market value stands at 400,000 euros.
