Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo has been named in the Sweden Allsvenskan Team-Of-The-Week following an explosive performance.
He scored a brace to for IF Elfsborg as they impressively beat giant Malmo FF last Sunday in the Swedes top-flight.
The Ghanaian midfielder grabbed the opening goal of the match to put Elfsborg ahead as early as the 11th minute through a spot kick.
He added his second goal of the match in the 73rd minute as he drew the home side level after Malmo came from behind to lead in the match with two goals from Isaac Kiese Thelin.
Elfsborg sealed their all important victory over Malmo with eleven minutes to end proceedings with goal from Andre Romer.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian box-to-box midfielder has four goals and one assist in 13 matches this season in Sweden.
Baidoo has four goals and an assist in 13 appearances for Elfsborg in the Swedish top-tier league this season.
