Ghanaian attacker Abdul Basit Khalid is looking forward to a Black Stars call up ahead of next year’s AFCON in Cameroon.
The 6 feet 3 inches striker has been on fire for Esperance since his January move from Macedonia outfit Gjorce Petrov and was key as the Black and Gold won the Tunisian Ligue 1.
Basit who has also been very key for his side in the CAF Champions League is looking forward to feature for the Black Stars as it remains his prime dream.
“I wish I get the chance to represent Ghana, it will be a great honor.” Basit told Sportsworldghana.com
“The dream of every player is to play for his national team and that is my target also.”
Basit will lead the attack of Esperance when they host Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad in the CAF Champions League quarter finals second leg on Saturday.
