English-born Ghanaian striker Daniel Agyei climbed off the bench to fire Kocaelispor to a vital 2- 1 away victory over Kayserispor with a ruthless second-half brace.
Agyei after being introduced in the second half, broke the deadlock on 65 minutes, racing onto a pass from Ahmet Oguz before finishing confidently for 1-0. He struck again eight minutes later, timing his run perfectly to turn in Darko Churlinov’s low cross and put Kocaelispor firmly in control at 2-0.
Kayserispor, who had dominated possession and created more shots, finally responded when Talha Sariarslan pulled one back late on after good work from Carlos Mané, but Kocaelispor held on through stoppage time to clinch an important three points.

The brace caps a breakthrough league campaign for Agyei, who now has 18 appearances, 3 goals, and 0 assists in the 2025/26 Super Lig, underlining his growing importance to Selçuk Inan’s side.
The result ends Kocaelispor’s five-match winless run and gives them momentum heading into their next Super Lig fixture at home to Gaziantep FK on Sunday, February 15.
