Ghanaian forward Francis Kyeremeh, has won the 2021 Lithuanian Premier League title with FK Žalgiris with a game to spare.
FK Žalgiris defeated PK Panevėžys 2-0 on Thursday evening at the LFF Stadium to clinch the league title even before their final game of the season against FC Džiugas Telšiai son Sunday.
Two goals from Hugo Videmont and Jakub Sylvestr and the 86th and 90+2 minutes respectively ensured FK Žalgiris won the game to their 76th point on the season.
The Ghanaian international who lasted the entire duration of the game, thus wins his second trophy of the season with FK Žalgiris having won the Lithuanian Cup with them few weeks ago.
Francis Kyeremeh, a former Techiman City striker, has been a star performer at FK Žalgiris this season after scoring nine times in the thirty-two league games he has played so far. He also featured four times for his team in UEFA Champions League preliminary stage and also featured twice in the UEFA Europa League before his team exited the competition.
