French-born Ghanaian striker Grejohn Kye scored his tenth goal of the season for Servette in their 2-1 win against FC Basel in the Swiss Super League on Saturday night.
Kyei shot the shots ahead in the 62nd-minute mark of the game after a barren first forty-five minutes at the Stade de Geneve.
The home side after picking the lead piled incessant pressure on Basel and finally saw their lead doubled in the 71st minute through Gael Ondoua.
Arthur Cabral, however, scored the only consolation goal for FC Basel after 90+3 from the spot as the full 90 minutes ended 2-1 in favour of Servette.
After matchday twenty-four in the Swiss Super League, Kyei’s Servette occupy the second position on the league table with 34 points, nineteen points adrift leaders Young Boys.
Kyei has so far this season, scored 10 goals in 22 games with two assists his credit.
