Ghanaian talented midfielder Keenan Appiah-Forson was again in full 90 minutes of action for West United U23s as they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City U23s in the English Premier League 2 on Friday night.
The budding midfield sensation was handed s starting berth by manager Dmitri Halajko and the youngster impressed greatly at Rush Green.
Felix Nmecha’s 7th-minute strike from the spot was the only goal that separated the two teams as the young Citizens who have already been crowned 2020/21 Premier League 2 Champions clinched all three points in the crucial game.
Appiah-Forson, 19, has been tipped to boss the midfield for David Moyes’ senior team next season in the English Premier League following his impressive performance with the U23s.
The promising talent has so far played 15 matches this campaign, scoring three goals in the process.
