Ghanaian young midfielder midfielder Francis Abu has disclosed he feels comfortable with his new role at Danish club Nordsjaelland.
The 20-year-old has been moved from the offensive position to deep in midfield which the Ghanaian youngster is currently adjusting to.
Speaking on his new role at the club Abu said, “I feel really comfortable in midfield. I also played it in the training matches up to the season where I had three good matches. At the Right to Dream Academy, I actually played centrally before I came to Farum”.
“Then I have tried to develop myself by playing other positions, which shows one of the strengths of FC Nordsjælland”.
“It has been seen before in FC Nordsjælland that the players are, among other things, developed by learning to master new positions.
The youngster further added that he is glad to help the team irrespective of where he is asked to play on the field.
” I’m just glad I can help the team as best I can. We have been looking forward to starting the season and I feel we are in a good place”.
Nordsjaelland are currently winless in the ongoing season after losing at home to Viborg and drawing against AGF.
They will next play against SønderjyskE on Monday.
