Young Ghanaian midfielder Abraham Okyere has joined Belgium top-flight team Beerschot V. A
The talented Ghanaian joined the club from Inter Allies FC following a one-year loan spell at Al Hilal United in the United Arab Emirates last season.
There he was voted the team of the year after a strong season. The Ghanaian youth international (U20) signed a contract for 2 seasons with another 2-years extension option.
Abraham, 18, is a real box-to-box player with great running ability and started his football career with Inter Allies as he progressed through the youth teams and made his first-team debut at the age of 16 in the Ghanaian Premier League.
Inter Allies has already developed several players for the Ghanaian national team. Joseph Aidoo (ex-Genk and now Celta De Vigo) and Daniel Amartey (Leicester City) were trained by Inter Allies, among others. Last season, Okyere moved to Al Hilal United on loan, where he played all matches.
