Ghanaian youth footballer Nikolas Nrtey has been handed his debut call up to the Denmark U-21 national team.
The 20-year old SV Sandhausen midfielder was named in the Danish U-21 team for the Euro qualifiers against Ukraine on Friday and Northern Ireland on Tuesday, September 8th.
Nartey who was born in Denmark to Ghanaian parents has VfB Stuttgart as his mother club.
The high-talented youngster is gradually getting close to representing Denmark at the senior level as the Ghana Football Association are yet to officially contact him to play for the Black Stars.
He is, however, expected to rejoin his SV Sandhausen teammates at Hardtwald immediately after the intentional assignment.
SV Sandhausen will engage Wehen Wiesbaden and FC Kaiserslautern in friendlies before the start of the 2020.21 in Germany.
