Teenager Sumaila Awudu is pleased to join French Ligue 1 side Clermont Foot 63.
Awudu, 18, who operates as a left winger was scouted by the French side from the JMG Academy in Mali and he was invited for trials in which he passed.
The youngster appended his signature to a four-year deal with an option for extension and he is happy about it.
“I am very happy to sign for Clermont Foot 63. I already feel very good here and I find my friend Alidu who will be able to help me progress. I hope to have the opportunity to be able to play in front of the supporters as soon as possible.” Awudu stated.
He will feature for the youth team after which he could be promoted to the senior side in June based on his output.
