Ghanaian forward Eric Appiah has signed for Serbian top- flight side FK Metalac Gornji Milanovac on a free transfer.
The former Ghana U-20 attacker has signed a two-year deal with the Serbian club.
Appiah became a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Belgian giants Club Brugge in the summer.
The 20-year-old was expected to move to Portugal, but the deal couldn’t go through at the eleventh hour.
The talented striker scored four goals in 33 appearances and assisted twice for Club Brugge Youth side.
He left because they couldn’t assure him of first-team action.
Appiah could make his debut this weekend when Metalac travel to face Spartak Subotica in the Serbian SuperLiga.
