Ghanaian sensational teen, Mizak Asante is being courted by English giants Manchester United and Manchester City following his exploits in the 2020-21 Ghana Division Two League.
Italian side Juventus FC have also been keeping tabs on the young and extremely talented youngster for a possible transfer in the near future.
The 15-year-old hit the lamelight over the weekend with his sumptuous and individually brilliant goal in the play-offs final of the Division Two League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Mizak Asante weaved his way through a dozen of defenders before dribbling the goalkeeper of Mobile Phone People from an acute angle to smash in the leveler to take the game to a penalty shootout.
His manager and coach at Golden Kicks, Joseph Epton confirmed the player is on the radar of the European giants after sending scouts to watch him.
“For Mizak, before scoring this goal we had already showed his highlights and that of other players to clubs abroad but he was the only player we had feedback from Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus and Genk,” he told Onua FM.
According to Mizak’s manager, the highly talented player has been displaying immense quality during matches and training although he felt reluctant when he first joined the club.
“He was recommended to me by Martin Antwi,” he said. “They were five when they came but he did not come to training regularly so I asked why he was truant and he explained he had stomach problem.
“I had to threaten I will sack him before he started showing up and then I asked my colleagues to give him the opportunity.”
Mizak helped Golden Kicks secure promotion to the Division One league after beating Mobile Phone People on penalties.
