Ghanaian youngster, Ernest Poku featured for Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar beat Scottish giant, Celtic FC on Thursday.
The 17-year-old Ghanaian forward played his part as his side secured a vital 2-1 win at home over the Green and Whites but failed to book a place in the 2021-22 UEFA Europa League
Despite AZ win, the Red and Whites outfit lost 3-2 on aggregate score line following their 2-0 loss in Scotland in the first leg.
Poku played the last 20 minutes of the match but could not help his side secure a group stage spot in the Europa League and would have to settle for a place in the 2021-22 UEFA Europa Conference League.
