Ghanaian youngster Kobbie Mainoo scored his first goal of the season for Manchester United FC U18 against rivals Leeds United on Saturday afternoon.
The 16-year-old midfielder played full throttle for the Red Devils in their emphatic 3-0 win over Leeds on the road.
The victory on Saturday at lunchtime is United’s first win of the season after suffering two straight defeats including a hammering by Liverpool last weekend at home.
In the game against Leeds, the Manchester United U18 team took a deserving 2-0 lead in the first half of the match.
On the 90th minute mark, Mainoo added the cake on the iceberg to make it a thumping 3-0 win for the Young Red Devils.
The Ghanaian youngster born in England has a goal to his name in three games and has been one of the most important players so far for United.
