Teenager Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is happy to play his first English Premiership game.
The 18-year-old winger played the final fifteen minutes on Saturday afternoon as his Crystal Palace side were battered 3-0 by European champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Rak-Sakyi who who was promoted to the main team in the off season was pleased to make his bow and aims to keep pushing hard in the first team.
“It was a proud moment for me and my family. It was a great opportunity for me; I thank the coaches for helping me to get to this point and I thank the gaffer for trusting me and giving me [the] opportunity to play. Hopefully more to come.” Rak-Sakyi told Palace TV
“I felt it went quite well. I just tried to stay calm, keep the ball and play simple.” He added.
Rak-Sakyi was born to Ghanaian parents in London and he is yet to represent England or Ghana at any level.
