Ghanaian youngster Raymond Owusu Frimpong netted the winning goal for Zorya Luhansk in the Ukrainian Premier League on Sunday evening aga Vorskla.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC striker came from the bench to score the winner for his team as they secured a narrow 1-0 victory at home to move to 7th on the table with 10 points from six matches.
The first half of the match ended goalless with no team finding the back of the net despite the clear chances.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward was brought on after 79 minutes of the match to play the last 10-11 minutes of the pulsating game.
Four minutes later, Owusu scored the winner from close range into the the roof of the net following a cross from the right side of attack to win the game for the Luhansk-based club.
The Ghanaian youngster has three goals in five matches and all coming as a substitute for his team thus far.
He joined Zorya Luhansk in match this from Ghana’s Division One League Zone Two side based in Kumasi, Asokwa Deportivo SC.
