Ghana striker Jordan Ayew was not named on the starting formation of Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira during their 0-0 home draw against Brentford on Saturday.
Fellow Ghanaian Jeffrey Schlupp , Chrisitian Benteke and Wilfried Zaha started as the three attackers in the 4-3-3 formation of Palace.
Ayew had started for the team in their 3-0 loss at Chelsea on opening weekend of the Premier League as Benteke was not available but the Black Stars number Nine came off the bench in the 68th minute to replace Schlupp as Palace struggled to score goals.
