Ghanaian defender, Abraham Frimpong featured for team Ferencvárosi TC as they beat Kisvarda FC 2-0 on Friday evening away from home.

The 27-year-old central-defender was at the heart of defense for the Champions League side in the Hungarian NB I League when his team picked all three points to go two points clear at top of the league table after five games with 13 points.

After aa scoreless opening 45 minutes, Isael da Silva Barbosa from Brasil netted the opener for the Greens in the 67th minutes of the match to put Ferencvaros 1-0 up.

One minutes to full time, Roman Karasyuk scored an own goal which helped the Hungarian champions to cruise to a 2-0 away win in their week five encounter.

Frimpong is a pivotal player for Ferencvaros and displayed his abilities and importance to his team once again as he helped them keep clean sheet in their away victory.
