Ghana international Acosty Maxwell Boadu was on the scoresheet once again for Anyang Football club in their league win earlier on Sunday.
The 29-year-old started from the bench in the K – League 2 encounter with Busan I Park in their 17th league game, being introduced in the 79th minute as he replaced Dong-un Shim.
Boadu came into the game with his team leading by four goals to three but the home side drew leveled eight minutes later after the Ghanaian’s introduction.
However, the former HNK Rijeka forward proved to be the difference maker, hitting the winner for Anyang in injury time to give them all three points at the Asiad Main Stadium.
The goal was also Boadu’s first since the turn of the year, having last scored for the club in November 2020.
Anyang FC signed Boadu during the 202 winter window for a fee said to be in the region of 500,000 euros, going on to score eight goals for the club across all competitions since making the move to South Korea.
