The Ghanaian midfielder was carried off the pitch in Mollarca’s win over Atletico yesterday in the Spanish La Liga.
Into the dying embers of the frenetic clash, the defensive midfielder took one for the team when he stood firm to head the ball which was goal bound.
Due to the power behind the shot, the Ghanaian mid went down and could not continue with the game as he was sent straight to the hospital.
His te beat Champions League side Atletico Madrid 1-0 at home to move out of relegation zone temporarily.
