Black Stars midfielder, Bernard Mensah has received criticisms from former Turkish star and Commentator, Ridvan Dilmen.
According to the former Turkish international, now commentator, Rıdvan Dilmen, the Ghanaian midfielder, Mensah, does not have the quality required to play for Superlig giants, Besiktas.
The former Kayserispor marksman, Mensah joined the Black Eagles this summer on a season-long loan from in a deal that could be made permanent at the end of the season should he be able to impress the technical handlers of the Black Eagles.
After just two matches into the 2020/2021 Turkish football season and one European game played by the Ghanaian for his new club, the football commentator is doubting Bernard Mensah’s qualities and has described him as not too good of a player to be donning the famous Black and Whites shirt.
Dilmen, who was touted as one of the most skilled Turkish player also said the 25-year-old does not have the profile to play for a big club like Besiktas.
“Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, Trabzonspor, there are too many players who cannot play according to my dreams in our long-established clubs. As far as I have seen, Mensah is one of them”, Rıdvan Dilmen posted on Twitter.
He added: ”Not a bad player, of course, but the Talisca’s level should be the Sosa’s level”.
After just 2 games for Besiktas this season, the former Atletico Madrid midfielder has scored one goal in the Turkish top-flight but deemed too inferior and a substandard player by the former Fenerbache man.
