Ghanaian international defender, Daniel Amartey was on target for English team Leicester City in their 1-1 stalemate with Championship side Blackburn Rovers on Saturday.
The Ghana Black Stars defender, who was featuring for the first time for Leicester City after almost two years of absence due to injury, wound the back of the net with a soft header to put the host ahead in the game after a goalless first 45 minutes at the King Power Stadium in a pre-season friendly.
After over an hour of goalless action, Daniel Amartey found himself in the right place at the right time to convert a corner at the back post.
However, City were unable to defend their lead and conceded their first goal in 260 minutes of pre-season action after Derrick Williams scored a header of his own.
The game finished in a draw as Leicester continued with their preparation ahead of the season opener in the England Premier League next weekend against West Bromwich Albion.
